Munster resident Alice Cannon has been selected by the Munster Chamber of Commerce as the 2013 Citizen of the Year.

The Schererville Parks Foundation recently elected officers for 2013. Elected were Mark Sandifer, president; Melinda Romanowski, vice president; Richard Young, treasurer; and Darlene Bouma, secretary. Cindy Ferrini was voted in as the newest member of the Board.
