HAMMOND | Purdue University Calumet is introducing in January an online master’s degree program designed to prepare graduates for positions of management and other leadership in technology-related professions.

The Master of Science in Technology with a concentration in Technology Leadership and Management is intended for those who seek technical leadership positions in business and industry, as well as higher education faculty posts in technology and engineering technology.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education recently approved the 33-credit hour degree offering.

To be considered for 2013 spring semester enrollment, prospective students must submit an application packet by Dec. 10. For more information, contact Purdue Calumet Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, School of Technology Mohammad Zahraee or Graduate Program Coordinator Jody Kidd by at (219) 989-2966 or (800) HI-PURDUE, ext. 2966, or at techgrad@purduecal.edu.

Previously approved, a master’s degree program in modeling, simulation and visualization also debuts at Purdue Calumet this spring.
