SCHERERVILLE | Step back in time Wednesday during the grand opening of Residences at Deer Creek.
The back-in-the-day festivities at 401 E. U.S. 30 will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Parking is available at the Patrician Banquet Hall, located at 410 U.S. 30, with free shuttle service. Those attending the open house are asked to RSVP by calling (219) 864-0770.
Bopology and 97.1 The Drive will entertain guests. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served during the open house.
Raffles, featuring prizes donated by a variety of businesses, will raise money to benefit the Alzheimers Association.
Owned by a group of local physicians, the three-story facility offers a variety of independent living, assisted living and memory support apartments for seniors, and welcomed its first residents on Jan. 26.
The Residences at Deer Creek provides as much or as little assistance as residents need. The private apartments range from studios to two bedrooms with two baths, with private balconies on select units.
