Sales of Blackhawks merchandise
Nikki Ledeter, of Cedar Lake, looks at Chicago Blackhawks T-shirts on Wednesday at Clark Street Sports in the Westfield Southlake mall. "We're selling it faster than we can get it," said assistant store manager Amanda Bernard, of Hebron. They stock a variety of items beyond jerseys. "We had a Blackhawks toaster that toasted the Blackhawks logo into the bread, but we sold it," she said. But Blackhawks caps, T-shirts, jerseys, backpacks, baby clothes and even dog clothes are still available and selling fast. "Almost 80 percent of our sales every day has been Blackhawks (merchandise)," she said.
