MERRILLVILLE | Medical professionals, health care practitioners and the public are invited to a free seminar and online webinar Wednesday on the history and future of breast cancer diagnostics, hosted by a company in the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana.
Dr. Anthony Magliocco, chair of the anatomic pathology department at the Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center, and Dr. Elizabeth Hammond, professor of pathology and adjunct professor of internal medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine, will present "Breast Cancer Diagnostics: Present and Future Best Practices" from 11 a.m. to noon.
IVDiagnostics LLC will coordinate the live seminar at the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana, 9800 Connecticut Drive, Crown Point.

Tom Szczepanski, director of marketing and support systems at IVDiagnostics, said the presentation is the first in a series of seminars with topics ranging from family health and cancer awareness to molecular medicine.
