Two local business professionals will host a free seminar Dec. 12 about planning for your business' future sale or succession.
CPA Tom Krafft and business coach and Times columnist Larry Galler will present two sessions at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza, 800 E. 81st Ave., from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
The seminar is geared toward business owners thinking of either selling or transitioning it to the next generation in the next five years.
There are many decisions to consider in order to maximize the value of the business, examine different financing options, think through potential tax consequences, and make operational improvements that can make the business more attractive to potential buyers making the sale or transition easier, faster, and more profitable.
