HAMMOND | The Hammond INnovation Center, 5209 Hohman Ave., is hosting a social media forum from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 14

Media and marketing experts will gather at the Hammond INnovation Center to discuss the social media rise, why it’s so popular, the merits and drawbacks to different platforms and the most effective ways business owners can use social media to promote their products and services.

Members of the forum panel include a representative of The Times Media Co., Leanne Hoagland-Smith, John Vezmar from Blue Room Café and Vezmar Media Group, Kathy Sipple of My Social Media Coach and Dave Mueller of Paul Henry’s Art Gallery.
