Nucor president and chief executive officer John Ferriola will keynote an annual dinner and awards banquet for metal industry professionals.

Ferriola, who runs the North Carolina-based steelmaker and also is chairman of the board for the Steel Manufacturers Association, will speak on reviving the metal markets when the Chicago chapter of The Association of Women in the Metals Industries hosts its 30th annual industry dinner later this month. The dinner and awards banquet will be 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Chicago.

The Association of Women in the Metal Industries is an organization that has promoted the growth and development of women in the metal industries since 1981. Membership is open to both women and men who are interested in professional development.
