The Times Media Co. and its BusINess Magazine are accepting nominations through Aug. 1 for the annual 20 Under 40 Awards.
The program, now in its ninth year, identifies and honors 20 people younger than 40 who have shown outstanding leadership and have become key players in the growth and development of Northwest Indiana.
This award is designed to encourage young entrepreneurs, business owners and those who serve in government and nonprofit sectors to develop their potential, reinforce their values and become role models for others. The winners will be announced in the fall in The Times, in BusINess magazine and on nwi.com.
"Letting us know about candidates for 20 Under 40 may be some of the most important work our business leaders do this summer," said Times Interim Publisher Lisa Daugherty. "Not only is this the perfect way to encourage and leverage the abilities and the generosity of Northwest Indiana's rising stars, but recognition as one of the 20 Under 40 acknowledges that you are a role model in our community. Every year we learn from the outstanding group of young professionals in our midst, carving paths to the future."
