MUNSTER | The Times of Northwest Indiana beat out about 1,100 other newspapers across the nation to be named Monster.com's Growth Partner of the Year for 2013.
Monster.com, one of the largest employment websites in the world, recognized The Times Media Co. for having the highest percentage of increase in year-over-year sales. Northwest Indiana's leading media company posted the biggest increase nationally in selling Monster.com products.

Monster.com pioneered the digital recruiting business in 1994 and has an international presence in more than 50 countries. Every year, the company has an awards summit to recognize top-achieving partners across the country, and honored The Times in February.
The employment and recruitment services site also recognized Lee Enterprises, The Times' Davenport, Iowa-based parent company, as its Growth Partner of the Year and Newspaper of the Year-Newspaper Group.
The Times of Northwest Indiana, the second largest newspaper in the state of Indiana, won the Growth Newspaper of the Year-Individual Newspaper.
