Jeff Twohig, an Edward Jones financial adviser in Missoula, Mont., has been named a principal with the firm’s holding company, the Jones Financial Companies, LLLP.
The Whiting native is one of only 37 people chosen from more than 42,000 associates to join the firm’s 336 principals, according to a news release.
After graduating from Bishop Noll Institute in 1987, Twohig, the son of Bill and Kathy Twohig, attended Ball State University, where he earned a degree in exercise physiology.
He joined Edward Jones in 1994 and managed a branch office in Jackson, Mich. until 1998, when he relocated to Missoula to open a branch office there.
“I joined Edward Jones because I believe in the firm’s commitment to individual investors, and I respect its partnership management structure," Twohig said in a statement. "It’s a great privilege to become actively involved in that management as a principal.”
