HAMMOND | The Hammond INnovation Center and the Northwest SDBC are offering their next Lunch and Learn On workshop, "Healthy Staff, Healthy Business: Healthy Insurance for Small Businesses," from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 3 at the INnovation Center, 5209 Hohman Ave.
One of the biggest challenges to small business owners is providing health care for themselves and their employees. As the new health care legislation continues on it's course, it’s important for business owners to remain informed. Jennifer Hosclaw will go over the latest changes from the healthcare law, important things that business owners should keep in mind while shopping for insurance, explain the different types of insurance opinions on the market, discuss the advantages to providing health insurance for your staff, ways to make the most of your insurance and how to judge which package is best for you.
