GARY | The Northwest ISBDC is teaming with Indiana University Northwest’s School of Business and Economics to help entrepreneurs put together a working marketing plan.

The free workshop will be from noon to 4 p.m. May 8 at IUN, 3400 Broadway, Dunes Medical/Professional Building, in Room 1156. For parking information, visit

IUN professor of marketing Subir Bandyopadhyay, will lead the workshop that aims to help small business owners break down the basics of a marketing plan.

He will focus on marketing challenges, purpose and components of a plan, how elements relate to participants’ businesses and ways to leverage free online sources for useful market information.
