Christenson Chevrolet has been in business for over 60 years, and they’re proud to call the region home. “We worked hard to build this trust, and it’s actually helped us grow in the last few years,” says Jim Schroeder, Internet Sales Director for Christenson Chevrolet. “We’re very proud to be family and locally owned,” he adds.

Which is how innovations in the automotive industry, coupled with an innovative way to treat customers, put this dealership out front when it comes to product line and customer service.

Despite the heavy hits of the recent troubled economy, Christenson Chevrolet continues to make strides toward a reputation for superb service and customer satisfaction. “We now have one of the largest—if not the largest—service departments in Northwest Indiana,” Jim says. “We also have the largest pre-owned showroom within 500 miles, and our new car showroom is completely redesigned and deserving of the high quality vehicles we sell,” he says.

Christenson Chevrolet has their finger on the pulse of the future for the auto industry. “The innovations in technology and safety are something I am always amazed by,” Jim says. One example he sites is how Chevy is bringing 4G connectivity to cars in 2014. Imagine in-auto connection to apps, streaming audio, and streaming video for your passengers, without the need of a smartphone, and all within an integrated smart radio screen designed for less distraction for the driver.

Christenson’s top seller continues to be the Equinox, but the all new Impala and Silverado are going to be in huge demand, according to Jim. “I think it’s hard to predict what will be the best sellers with so many heavy hitters in each class,” Jim says. “Chevy honestly has not had this great a lineup in years.”

A top of the line selection, with vehicles pushing the technology envelope, is just the beginning with Christenson Chevrolet. They’ve gone to great lengths to improve in all areas of customer satisfaction, even in areas where they already excel. “We even started a 48-hour return policy on pre-owned vehicles,” Jim says. “We understand that we need [our customer’s] trust in us.” Christenson continues to build on their legacy of customer service and satisfaction, building a business of pride that starts today… and stretches far into the future.
