The 2014 Dodge Journey – America’s fastest growing and most versatile crossover – looks to continue its momentum in the marketplace with new value-oriented option packages for the 2014 model year. With these new packages, voice command navigation, rear-seat DVD entertainment and heated leather seating are now available on SXT models. Also new for 2014 is the availability of SiriusXM Radio on all Journey models. In addition, to complement the Dodge brand vehicle lineup, the new Dodge Journey Limited model replaces the Crew for the 2014 model year.
Dodge Journey offers a gorgeous interior with premium, soft-touch materials throughout. The available award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivers a best-in-class 283 horsepower, and Journey continues to deliver the latest and greatest in vehicle connectivity and customization with the Chrysler Group’s Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system. Featuring an 8.4-inch touchscreen, standard keyless “Enter n’ Go” with push-button start and available heated steering wheel, Dodge Journey offers a slew of hightech features at a price that is still affordable to families. With best-in-class storage space, available fold-flat seats, second-row in-floor storage and front-passenger “Flip-N-Stow” in-seat storage, the Journey is a true utility infielder.
The 2014 Dodge Journey is available in American Value Package (AVP), SE, SXT, Limited and R/T trim levels, and is America’s most affordable seven-seat crossover with a starting MSRP of $19,495 (excluding $995 destination).
The Journey AVP, SE and SXT are powered by a standard 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine, which produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb.-ft. of torque, linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. This four-cylinder engine delivers 26 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway.
The Journey is also upping its capability and value quotient by offering the Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine and all-wheel drive (AWD) on SE models for 2014, with a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $24,895 (excluding $995 destination). The Dodge Journey SE V-6 AWD makes all-wheel drive more accessible within the Journey lineup by $1,800 compared to the SXT model.
The award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, now optional on Journey SE, SXT and Crossroad and standard on Limited and R/T models, produces a best-in-class 283 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. In addition to excellent power, it delivers up to 25 mpg.
