BLACKHAWKS TEAM CHEVY

When Aaron Yaros went to Team Chevrolet Valparaiso to look for a new Chevy truck he had no idea putting his name into a drawing for a Chevy Cruse would win him tickets to his first Chicago Blackhawks game.

Yaros, the lucky winner of two club section tickets to Sunday’s game, is taking his girlfriend as his guest. Both are big Blackhawks fans, he said, and neither has been to a game.

Yaros, 18, of Valparaiso, said he was surprised by the call, at first thinking it was a joke.

“When I put my name in for the car drawing, I didn’t realize I could win Blackhawks tickets,” Yaros said.

Yaros, who owns a Chevy Trailblazer and a Jeep, said he chose Team Chevrolet Valparaiso for his next truck purchase because his family has bought two vehicles from the dealership and were very satisfied with the experience.

“This is the first time I have won anything like that,” Yaros said. “It is pretty exciting. I am hoping my luck will roll over for the car.”

Each year the Northwest Indiana Chevy dealerships give their valued customers a chance to win a Chevy Cruze. This year they are doing more—each of the eight dealerships is drawing a lucky winner to receive two Chicago Blackhawks tickets. The drawings continue one at a time for the next four weeks. The final drawing for the Chevy Cruze will be held May 1.

Daniel Brubaker, General Manager at Team Chevrolet Valparaiso, was excited about the Blackhawk tickets drawing.

“It was very exciting to be able to give him the tickets,” Brubaker said.

Brubaker said Team Chevrolet Valparaiso, which opened in August 2002, takes pride as a dealership in its excellent customer care and service.

“We exceed guest expectations, making sure that we are always stepping up and taking care of our guests,” Brubaker said.

The Chevy Cruze is an upgrade from the previous Chevy Cobalt models. The Cruze is bigger with added luxury. The main appeal of the Cruze is the excellent gas mileage. It can get up to 46 MPG on the highway, an important feature as gas prices continue to rise. A great family sedan, the Cruze has a five star safety rating.

In addition to Team Chevrolet, participating dealerships are: Smith Chevrolet of Hammond, who drew the first week’s winner; Arnell Chevrolet; Harbor Chevrolet; Smith Chevrolet of Lowell; Christenson Chevrolet; Mike Anderson Chevrolet, and Wiers Chevrolet. You can still enter for a chance to win by visiting http://nwitimes.com/app/adspec/win_a_cruze/. Your last chance to enter is at 5 p.m. April 26. One entry per person is permitted.
