Audi does a lot of things classy, but to think of a SUV as classy is a little weird. Sure most of them have beautiful interiors and stunning exteriors, but in my opinion nothing comes close to the Audi Q5. Audiusa.com describes the Q5 as a true multi-tasker offering luxury, handling and utility all at once. It comes in three different models, the Premium, Premium plus, and the Prestige. Having the expense taste I do, but don’t we all in our own way, I am going to focus on the Prestige model.

The stylish profile of the Audi Q5 is enhanced by available LED daytime running lights that help provide a welcome heads-up to other motorists. Available adaptive xenon plus headlights shed light on dark turns, pivoting up to 15 degrees. And brilliant LED taillights illuminate faster than traditional brake lights. Talk about grabbing attention and keeping it. Moving down the Q5, the side mirrors are power-adjustable, power folding, auto-dimming, and heated to ensure you always have a clear view. Also heated is the windshield washer nozzles that would come in handy right about now when you are getting all of that dirt splashed up onto your windshield and you cant clean it because your nozzles are frozen.

The Q5 Prestige of course has all leather seating with 40/20/40 split folding rear seats with pass-through and adjustable recline. Plus those leather seats are heated because Audi understands that leather gets pretty cold. To make sure everyone is comfortable, there is a three-zone automatic climate control, which can be controlled by the driver, passenger, and the back seat passengers. With aluminum inlays on the steering wheel, doors, and center stacks it adds to the luxury look of the vehicle.

With the world today revolving around technology, the Q5 fits in nicely. It starts with Audi concert radio, which includes 14 speakers and single CD player with MP3 playback capabilities. You can also hear SiriusXM Satellite Radio or your favorite music device through those 14 speakers with iPod integration and Bluetooth wireless technology. Keep your mind and hands on the wheel with rain/light sensors for automatic windshield wipers as soon as water hits the windshield, and headlights for as soon as the sun sets. Plus with your six-month free trial of Audi connect with Google Earth, you can connect to the world around you while you drive through it. It provides weather, news, local search and a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices.

At the heart of the Audi Q5 are three sophisticated engine choices. The turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI four cylinder, supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6, and 3.0-liter TDI clean diesel are both superbly responsive and efficient. No matter your desire, there's an engine offering to achieve it. The clean diesel you get about 29 MPG, 240 HP, and 428 lb-ft of torque. Not to mention about 80 more miles out of your tank compared to the other two engine choices.

Now I said that I had expensive taste, the Prestige starts out at about $51,000, but the Premium, which is the lowest model, only starts out at a little over $37,000.
