The 2013 History Speaks Series will feature well-recognized performers providing a variety of historical notables.  All four programs in the History Speak Series will be presented at the Lake Etta Banquet Hall at Lake Etta County Park. Enjoy an afternoon of coffee, tea, punch and cookies following each performance. Tickets are available at the corporate office of the Lake County Parks, 8411 E. April 7 is Abigail Adams - A Lifeline of Letters performed by Jessica Michna. Michna has performed in such notable venues as the National Churchill Memorial and the Lincoln Boyhood Home. She portrays nine historical characters. Upcoming performances are May 5: “Meet Theodore Roosevelt” (Gib Young); July 7: “Thomas Paine - The Voice of the American Revolution” (R.J. Lindsey) and Aug. 4: “An Evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln” (Max and Donna Daniels)
