Reservations must be made by June 19 for a two-day camp that will introduce Michigan City and LaPorte county history and architecture to children 8 to 12. ArchiCamp, staged by Indiana Landmarks, the Michigan City Historical Society and the Old Lighthouse Museum, will take place on June 20-21. Campers will experience the architecture of the Michigan City Lighthouse and historic Washington Park. Winner of a prestigious award from the American Association of State and Local History, ArchiCamp encourages children to use their imaginations and powers of observation while teaching them about history, architecture, and renovation. Cost includes refreshments, educational materials, and souvenirs. Bring a sack lunch both days. Enrollment limited to 20.
