"Frozen Stiff," the dinner-theater murder mystery sold out in November, is coming back to the elegant Maki Ballroom in the Old Court House on the downtown square. Performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 and 9, with doors opening for a social hour at 6. A Sunday matinee at 1 p.m. Feb. 10 has doors opening at noon. The play is based on an actual murder discovered in Cedar Lake during the winter of 1912, when the body of a man was found in Crip Binyon's barn. Written and directed by Marion Kellum. Tickets may be purchased by phone or online at brownpapertickets.com. Tables of 8 may be reserved. All proceeds go to the Lake Court House Foundation, with a matching grant by the Barbara and Dean White Foundation.
