Dyer Parks & Recreation is having a knitting class for children and adults from 5 to 6 p.m. on Fridays through March 14. Walk away with a feeling of accomplishment when you see the beautiful, wearable and decorative items that you can make for yourself. Knitting is not only relaxing, but it helps to relieve tension and it's fun. Participants are required to bring two (size 8) knitting needles and 1-skein of knitting worsted yarn (no variegated or dark colors please). Registration is required at Dyer Parks & Recreation Department.
