This is a 4-H event open to all kids grade 3-12, whether you have previous 4-H experience or not!

Learn the basics of beekeeping:

- The benefits of bees, especially for pollination

- Equipment required to keep them

- Career opportunities in the industry

- How we can help the bees

Take home a bee-friendly plant for your garden or patio!!

There are 3 parts to this Club: March 8, March 22, and April 5. All are from 4pm to 6pm at the Extension Office.

This class is free if you are already a member of 4-H. If not, there is a $15 registration fee that will allow you access not just to this SPARK club, but every other SPARK club we have this year. It also grants you membership to the 4-H Club itself.

If you'd like to learn more about the Beekeeping Club or 4-H please give us a call at the Purdue Extension office, 219-755-3240.

We are an equal opportunity/equal access/affirmative action institution.
