Step Up to Health Walking Club
The Schererville Parks Department and Omni 41 Health & Fitness have teamed up to offer our community a walking fitness club that encourages participants to walk 10,000 steps a day. Walking is a great way to lose weight and keep it off. Each new registered participant will be given a pedometer to measure daily steps. All participants will receive a free one week pass to Omni 41 Health & Fitness at the beginning of the program. Also all members can earn a T-shirt and one month free pass to Omni 41 Health & Fitness at the end of the session. Step Up to Health members will meet once a week at Redar Park and other local trails for a 30 minute walk and motivational tips to add more steps to your day. Omni 41 will offer periodic discussions on proper nutrition and exercise to reach the goal of a strong body and healthy heart.
