Enjoy movies the First Friday of each month in Downtown La Porte! Taking place in the parking lot at State and Monroe Streets, downtown becomes a theater showing family-friendly movies from June to August. Free popcorn is donated by La Porte Savings Bank, and refreshments are for sale by local diner B & J's American Cafe and ice cream by Temple News Agency. The First Fridays also feature a car show down State Street to enjoy before the movie at dusk.
