'Spoken Word' event

African American Achievers Youth Corps Inc. will sponsor "The Spoken Word" at the Glen Theatre. The program will feature Christian poets and rappers. Among those performing are Elena Love, Kelechukwu Brnfre, the Rev. Montia Gardner, Roger Phillips, Evangelist Davida Johnson, Ethel Walton, Tamara Blankenship, Kenneth "The Poet" Cooper, Lee Gilliam Jr., Bilneisha Tillman, Evonnie Scruggs, Elder Rob Sanders, David McDade, Davita Stewart, and members of Permanent Ink Slam Poets' Club of Merrillville High School.
