ECPL Introduces New Patron Loyalty Rewards Program beginning March 1, 2018
The East Chicago Public Library has announced its new punch card incentive program for patrons. The new patron rewards program will allow good standing library cardholders to receive a loyalty punch card that earns a stamp after every visit.
Showing your library card or signing up for a library card can earn the first punch. Whether you’re checking out materials, attending an event, or taking out an interlibrary loan, punch rewards can be earned every visit. During this time, patrons can learn more about the incentive that will be offered once their punch card is filled.
After receiving ten (10) punches patrons can redeem their points and receive a chance to spin the Library Rewards Wheel. The wheel will have various free incentives and offers to encourage patrons to keep utilizing the library and its services. After each punch card is filled, we will provide patrons with a new card to begin earning points again.
Patrons can also receive a punch by “liking” the East Chicago Public Library social media Facebook page. Proof must be shown of review and “like.”
The overall goal is to push and urge residents to own and use their library card frequently. This program is a great way to promote resources and literacy, enhance community engagement and build patron loyalty. There is a world of resources that the East Chicago Public Library offers. All access is granted with the use of one’s library card.
Check with library staff for a full list of eligible punch card incentives. The Patron Incentive program will be available at all East Chicago Public Library locations: Pastrick Branch, 1008 W. Chicago Ave.; King Center, 4802 Melville; Penn Center, 3550 Pennsylvania Ave.; Owens Center, 4001 Alexander Ave. and Clemente Center, 3616 Elm St. and Marktown, 3509 Spruce St.
