KinderReadiness Camps

Register by Sept. 28 for Kinder Readiness at the YMCA, which  prepares children 3-1/2 to 6 for kindergarten through developing physical, social and cognitive skills, and language and reading skills. To participate, children must be potty-trained. Each camp runs for 8 weeks and children may re-enroll for more than one session. Classes will run Monday thru Friday with a choice of morning, 9:30 a.m. to noon,  or afternoon, 1 to 3:30 p.m., class sessions. Program dates for the fall camp are Oct. 1 to Nov. 27, with registration through Sept. 28. Class space is limited.Children will receive a developmental assessment of their skills prior to the first day and at the conclusion of camp. The camp will explore the need for large and small motor skills, following directions, and choice-based activities while incorporating our values of caring, honesty respect and responsibility.
