Communities In Schools of Lake County S.T.A.R.S. Mentoring program is hosting an information session for those who would like to volunteer as mentors to high school students. A mentor is a caring adult willing to make a personal commitment to be involved with a student for four to six hours per month for one year, serve as a role model and help a teen and helps a student see the importance and relevance of his/her education to career and life goals and acts as a resource helping their student find direction and exposing him/her to career opportunities. No experience is necessary.
