From Oct. 31 to Nov. 14, the Hammond Public Library serves as a collection site for Greater Hammond Community Services' annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Canned goods or nonperishable food items may be brought to the library. This is not a Food for Fines event; donating items will not waive library fees or fines for lost, damaged, or overdue materials.
