Theater performance to benefit Catherine McAuley Clinic
The Rotary Club of Hammond will present “An Evening to Benefit The Catherine McAuley Clinic” at the Towle Theater. The theater will present the award-winning comedy, “Laughing Stock,” with a portion of the $50 ticket cost benefitting the clinic, 5514 Hohman Ave., whose volunteer staff members provide medical and referral services at minimal cost for needy Northwest Indiana residents. The clinic is under the auspices of Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Hammond, 5454 Hohman Ave. Hors d’oeuvres, sparkling water, soft drinks and desserts are included in the ticket price. A cash bar and silent auction also will be offered. A question-and-answer session with cast members will follow the show. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the show starts at 7 p.m.
