Children 6 and older are invited to join Jennifer Loving of Loving Fitness for Yoga4Kids. Registration is required by phone. Attendees will be introduced to beginning and intermediate yoga poses with fun games, stories, partner stretching and age-appropriate lessons on controlling/relaxing the body and mind. Each child will learn healthy techniques for lengthening muscles and developing flexibility. Yoga at an early age can encourage self-esteem and body awareness with noncompetitive physical activity and fosters cooperation and compassion, and is recommended for cross training with any sport.
