Organ Recital

Lowell First United Methodist Church will offer an organ recital by church organist David Schoon. The Wicks Organ was installed in 1986, with seven ranks of the previous 1946 Hillgreen-Lane organ being retained.  The organ has 1174 pipes ranging from 8 feet long to smaller than a pencil. Schoon is a retired high school science teacher who earned a degree in Church Music with distinction from Valparaiso University.  A free-will offering will help maintain the organ.
