The Shirley Heinze Land Trust will host a volunteer workday at Cressmoor Prairie, the largest permanently protected black-soil prairie in the state and represents one of the rarest habitat types, as much of it was developed or converted to agriculture. Use brush cutters and loppers to cut a variety of exotic/invasive shrubs. Come to not only lend a hand, but learn more about the impact of exotic/invasive plants and how this unique site is managed. Lunch will be provided. RSVP email@example.com to attend.
