The Friends of the Lowell Library invite you to view the creativity and      imaginations of elementary grade students of the Tri-Creek area schools   during the week of  May 14-18.

The many works of art done in oils, watercolors, chalks, and also computer  graphics will be on display throughout the library.

On Wednesday, May 16 at 6:00 PM, the Friends will hold a special reception for the young artists and their family members.  Students will be recognized for their efforts with certificates of achievement.  The certificates will be distributed by the school art teachers the following week.

At the reception, Friends members will serve cake, punch and coffee.  There will be a drawing for art supplies for all children (grades K-5) who attend. In addition, adults can enter a drawing for a Brookfield Zoo package (free parking and 4 general admission tickets).

Can’t make it to the reception?  You are more than welcome to see your child’s artwork at any time that week, during regular library hours!
