Jordan Jancosek and Jacob Wishart were engaged on Oct. 22 in their home of Boston. Jordan is the daughter of Michael and Kimberly Jancosek (nee Pieters), of Munster, and the granddaughter of Francis and Patricia Jancosek and Dorothy Pieters, of Whiting as well as the late Thomas Pieters, of Whiting. Jacob is the son of David Wishart and Josephine Wilson of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and the grandson of Charles and Cordelia Wishart of Paris, Illinois, and the late Robert and Josephine Wilson of Waterford, New York. Jordan and Jacob are both graduates of Oberlin College, with B.A.’s in history and economics, respectively. Jordan recently completed her dual-degree M.A. in library science and history, and is currently a survey librarian/archivist for special collections at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Jacob graduated from Miami University with an M.A. in economics, and is employed by the United States Department of Transportation as an economist in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A Boston wedding is planned for September 2016 at the historical Boston Metropolitan Waterworks Museum.
