Cook County initiative not adopted

In some editions Wednesday about an effort to slow the growth of the Cook County Jail inmate population, The Associated Press reported erroneously that county commissioners passed a resolution making prostitution arrests misdemeanors. The resolution was introduced, but it wasn't passed.
