Incorrect name listed as arrested in police report

A story in some Wednesday editions incorrectly named a person arrested Saturday at a party in Jackson Township. Justin Tassler, of Porter, was not arrested at the party, as originally reported by the Porter County Sheriff's Department. Police said their reports should have said that Eric Jirtle, 18, of Valparaiso, was arrested on an underage drinking charge.
