A story in Saturday's edition of The Times incorrectly quoted Lake Councilwoman Christine Cid, D-East Chicago, with comments regarding the need for county government to borrow $15 million. Cid said some cities and towns in Lake aren't living within budget restrictions imposed by the state's cap on property taxes. Cid didn't say those cities and towns should cut services.
