A diminutive version of an advent calendar created for "Country Living" magazine using matchboxes covered in decorative paper with boxes that open to share tiny treats. Shelly Ridenour, executive editor of "Country Living," believes advent calendars add to the excitement and anticipation of Christmas. "And of course you get that little gift every day that builds up the fun," she says.
