Gallery: Kennedy Center honors Billy Joel
Six-time Grammy Award winner Billy Joel was celebrated this weekend as an American icon during the 36th annual Kennedy Center Honors. Various musicians from jazz, rock, country and emo performed many of his hits at the White House while Billy Joel sat in the presidential box with President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle. The performance gala will be aired on Dec. 29 by CBS.

performances such as the First Concert at Yankee Stadium, the Last Play at Shea, 12 Gardens Live, The Concert for New York City and 12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief to name a few.
