Lake Station's Fox Gallery is throwing a party this weekend, and everyone's invited.

The art gallery at 2901 Dekalb St. at the border of Lake Station and New Chicago will host its seventh Art & Music Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The fest will feature art displays, local artists, food vendors and a bounce house while live music plays all day long.

"We are hosting vendors, live music, a car show and The Vintageous Gals," gallery owner Georgia Fox Hatfield said.

The event is free, but attendees are welcome to put money in the donation jar for Fox Gallery, which strives to be an “art oasis in Northwest Indiana." The gallery, which is known throughout the Region for its open mic nights, represents 26 local artists, including Hatfield, Johnny Castillija, Linda Gutierrez, Rich Mckinney, Robin Embry, Joe Ladendorf, Adam Pusckac, Barry Reynolds, and Barbara Krok.

The Fox Gallery has a parking lot, and overflow parking is also available Saturday at KC's Bar and Grill and behind 7 Elephants Convenience Store.
