Everything's copacetic whether you get it or not because the Chicago-based alternative rock band Local H is going to play a concert in Highland in November.

Local H, known for rocking post-grunge songs like "Bound for the Floor" and "High-Fiving MF," will play a 21-and-over show at 8 p.m. Nov. 24 in The Room at The Silver Buckle Saloon in Highland. The country bar is located at 8355 Indianapolis Blvd. in the Ultra Highland Plaza.

Doors open at 5 p.m., and the pop rock band Brothers & Wine opens.

The hard-charging rock duo Local H is helmed by guitarist/singer Scott Lucas and is acclaimed for live shows that have been characterized as blistering and energetic. The Chicago-based band hit its commercial peak in the 1990s with the sophomore album "As Good as Dead," which cracked the Billboard 200 and was certified gold, but remains a popular touring act that has opened for bands like Helmet and Metallica.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online at localh.com.
