Chicago's acclaimed Joffrey Ballet will entertain dance lovers with its annual seasonal production titled "Spring Desire" April 25 to May 6 at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago.
Among works starring on the performance roster will be Edwaard Liang's "Age of Innocence;" Jerome Robbins' "In the Night;" and Val Caniparoli's "Incantations."
Robbins' "In The Night" piece, created in 1970, is set to the piano nocturnes of Chopin and explores the relationships of three couples while "Age of Innocence," from 2008, examines the heartaches and joys of romance.
"Incantations," which is a world premiere this season, blends the styles of classical ballet, ethnic, modern and contemporary/social dance.
