Broadway in Chicago will present the world premiere pre-Broadway run of Sting's new musical "The Last Ship" beginning next week in the Windy City.
"The Last Ship" starts previews June 10 and runs through July 13 at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe St. The show, written by Grammy-winning musician/singer/songwriter Sting is inspired by his memories growing up in the shipbuilding town of Wallsend, England.
Sting will also perform a song from the musical at the 68th annual Tony Awards which will be broadcast live from New York on Sunday.
