Whether you're interested in painting, cooking, yoga or a number of other arts, Gary's ArtHouse has an event for you.

ArtHouse, A Social Kitchen regularly features free culinary and art events. Programs are geared to all skill levels from novices to experts. (No experience is necessary to participate in Culinary Exploration programs.)

Among upcoming programs are Yoga I and Yoga II. Both classes run Wednesdays through July 26. Yoga I meets from 2 to 3 p.m. while Yoga II meets from 7 to 8 p.m. The classes are taught by Kelsye Turner. Both yoga events are free. RSVP is encouraged.

The Huichol Arts/Liveart Studio program will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 11. The program, taught by Desire'e Simpson, features the art of yarn painting. Class members will create an artwork during the free program.

Kitchen Poets: Baking with Nikki Patin will be presented from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 18. During the class, students will learn to make the perfect scone. The instructor also will talk about the parallels between poetry and baking.
