These are gifts that will be cherished for years to come and there are so many possibilities.
Dip your child’s hand in white paint and place fingers on the outside of a colored ornament to create snowmen. Once dried, use Sharpie markers to draw faces, buttons, hats and snowflakes in the backdrop.
Popsicle stick sled
Seven popsicle sticks and some glue are all you need to fashion a sled that you can then paint however you’d like. A piece of twine fasted to the top for hanging and the year written on it in a metallic Sharpie and you’ve got a keepsake gift.
Fabric filled plastic bulb
This one can be extremely sentimental. Take a clear, plastic bulb and insert some meaningful pieces of fabric - scraps from a piece of clothing from a loved one, snippets from a wedding dress or prom gown or ribbon or fabric with the logo of a favorite sports team. Use a paint pen to personalize it on the outside.
Use Scrabble pieces and glue them together to make a special message for the recipient. Add some ribbon for hanging with a hot glue gun and your ornament is done.
Candy Cane Pipe Cleaner
This one couldn’t be easier. Grab a pipe cleaner and a handful of red and white beads and slide them over the pipe cleaner, alternating them. Use another pie cleaner to make a hanger and you’re finished.
