Best Picture - Amour: Over the next nine days, we'll look at the nine films up for Best Picture this year. Today, we start with "Amour." To be certain, this little Austrian love story is a longshot to win Best Picture, with oddsmakers setting the line around 100 to 1. But with nominations in four other categories (Actress, Director, Original Screenplay and Foreign Film), it has been one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year. It should walk away with the Foreign Film prize, and Emmanuelle Riva, at 86 on Oscar night, has a very real chance of stealing Best Actress. But of all this year's nominees, "Amour" is easily the most heartwrenching.
