The offspring of legendary groups The Beach Boys and The Mamas and the Papas proved a harmonious trio last weekend at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City.

Wilson Phillips, starring Brian Wilson's daughters Carnie and Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips, daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and The Papas, brought their show to the casino's Stardust Event Center Nov. 10. They performed to a group of cheering audience members who were obviously not only fans of the female trio but their musical icon parents.

Throughout the concert, fans continued to shout the singers' names and called out titles of the songs they wanted to hear.

Wendy, Carnie and Chynna exhibited a fun side as they regularly talked to the audience. Carnie, the most exuberant of the three performers, was particularly humorous as she kicked off her shoes to get more comfortable and joked constantly with her fellow performers and fans.

The group is currently touring in support of their latest album "Dedicated," which features hit tunes from the catalogs of The Beach Boys and The Mamas and the Papas.

On their playlist at the Blue Chip were some of those tunes, including "Dedicated to the One I Love," "California Dreamin' and "Wouldn't It Be Nice." They also delivered Wilson Phillips favorites such as "You're in Love," "Hold On," "Impulsive," and "Daniel," the Elton John hit they performed on a past Elton tribute album.
