CRAFTERS NEEDED | Hobart

The Kids 1st Preschool is sponsoring a fall craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 at First United Methodist Church, 654 E. Fourth St. They are seeking crafters for the fair. The cost of a booth space is $25 for a 8 by 10-foot space. Admission is free. There will be great gifts-door prizes-Concession. For more information contact the church.

VENDOR FAIR | Munster

HOPE for the Holidays, a shopping event to help support the fight against breast cancer, will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Munster Community Park Social Center, 8751 Lions Club Drive. Vendors selling candles, gourmet foods, wine, jewelry, purses, personal care, spa products and many other items will be on hand. They all have committed to donate a portion of their proceeds to the AVON Walk For Breast Cancer. Thus far, Team HOPE has raised more than $45,000 dollars to support this program.

The Highland Band Boosters will hold its annual fall arts and craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 8 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at Highland Middle School. Crafters and vendors are needed for Evening with Santa from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 at Protsman Elementary School, 1121 Harrison Ave. Rental cost is $20 per table (table is included). Table space is limited to one consultant from each company. All proceeds benefit Protsman HSA and school. All applications and rental fees must be returned before Nov. 10. Highland Parks and Recreation Department's winter arts and craft show with vendor fair is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 29 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 at Lincoln Center, 2450 Lincoln St. Handmade items as well as products from direct sales will be available. Applications are available at www.highland.in.gov/parks. Returning arts and crafts vendors must register with payment for the winter show by Oct. 30 or the space will be given to another vendor. New vendors may sign up after Oct. 30. The cost is $50 for 10-by-10 center space/show or $75 for wall space/show. Not all spaces are guaranteed electricity. Vendors must participate for both days for the full duration of the show.
