Four region boys basketball teams are ranked in the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association preseason top 20.
Lake Central leads the region, landing the No. 8 ranking. It is the only region team in the top 10.
Munster is ranked No. 14, and recieved a first place vote. Bowman Academy is close behind at No. 15, while Merrillville landed the No. 18 ranking.
Other region teams recieving votes were: Andrean, Crown Point, East Chicago Central, West Side, Bishop Noll and Valparaiso.
